We just returned from an incredible experience in El Salvador! We had the honor of providing training for henequen artisans, sharing knowledge and skills to strengthen their work and preserve this cultural tradition. This valuable initiative was led by Green Fibers For Life, in coordination with ADEL Morazán, as part of the project «Incentivizing Agriculture and Traditions in Morazán,» in partnership with AUPEX and funded by AEXCID.
The artisans’ energy and passion were contagious, and we feel fortunate to have been able to share this experience with them. The training was a success, and we are confident that the artisans will be able to apply what they learned to improve their work and take henequen to new levels.
